We believe real spiritual growth happens best in smaller communities. While large gatherings inspire and teach, it’s in circles—not rows—where we are truly known, encouraged, challenged, and formed as apprentices of Jesus. At Heyworth Christian Church, small groups create space for meaningful relationships and honest conversations about faith and life. They are a place to ask questions, share struggles, celebrate wins, and learn how to follow Jesus in everyday situations—together.

HCC offers a variety of small groups that meet throughout the year. Some groups gather year-round, while others meet for specific seasons or studies, making it easy to find a group that fits your schedule and stage of life.

What Are Small Groups?

Small groups are weekly gatherings (usually) of approximately 8–12 people who meet in homes or at HCC for the purpose of growing closer to Christ and to one another. These life groups range from verse by verse Bible studies to topical studies on the Bible. They are casual, welcoming, and encouraging environments where shared discussion helps people explore how Scripture connects to real, everyday life.

Whether you are a long-time follower of Jesus or just beginning to explore faith, you are welcome.

Can I Join Anytime?

Yes! You can join a group at any time without feeling like you’ve missed something. There’s always room for you.
